Report: Northern Illinois Will Play In The Orange Bowl; Louisville Likely To End Up In New Orleans

Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel is reporting that Northern Illinois, the 2012 MAC champion has climbed all the way from No. 21 to No. 16 in the BCS rankings, which means they’ll earn a bid to a BCS Bowl.

Thamel reports that Northern Illinois will head to the Orange Bowl to take on ACC champion Florida State. This means Louisville will likely end up in the Sugar Bowl against Florida.

We’ll know for sure tonight at 8:30 when the BCS selection show airs on ESPN.
