Chane Behanan won’t be the only player who will sit out during Louisville’s first exhibition game of the season this Thursday night against Pikeville. During Coach Pitino’s radio show tonight at Buffalo Wild Wings, he confirmed that sophomore guard Kevin Ware will also be suspended.
Ware will miss just the one game, while Behanan is suspended for both of Louisville’s exhibition games. It was initially thought that he would be suspended for only one game.
I’m not exactly sure what Ware has done to be suspended and I don’t think we’ll find out. I can only hope that this is something minor and Pitino is using this as a motivational tactic. Pitino has raved about Ware’s offseason progression and he looked great in Louisville’s three Red – White scrimmages.
This definitly isn’t news you like to hear, but I suppose it’s better to have it happen now rather than March.

WTFlip Pitino! Dang! I was pumped to see all the different ways he would work the substitutions.
