Hargrave Military Academy and Oak Hill Academy scrimmaged each other tonight in Danville, VA. Hargrave features two Louisville 2013 signees, Terry Rozier and Anton Gill. Rozier, a 6-foot-2 combo guard from Cleveland had signed with Louisville’s 2012 class, but ended up at Hargrave after failing to qualify. Gill, a 6-foot-4 scoring guard recently transferred to Hargrave from Ravenscroft High School in his hometown of Raleigh, NC, where he played his first three years of prep ball.

Because it was a scrimmage, the score was reset after each half. Oak Hill won each half and a combined score of 96-84. Anton Gill was in somewhat of a shooting slump tonight, but no reason to panic. Gill is the real deal. Terry Rozier, on the other hand was a completely different story. Rozier finished with a game high 33 points and was regarded as the best player on the floor tonight by those who were in attendance. Rozier was thought to be a steal for Louisville in the 2012 class and a year of post graduate play at Hargrave is only going to make him better.

Rick Lewis of PhenomHoopReport.com reports that Louisville assistant coach Kevin Keatts, who previously coached at Hargrave, was in attendance tonight to see both Gill, Rozier and Troy Williams who plays for Oak Hill Academy. Louisville has reportedly wrapped up their 2013 class, but Williams was at one time one of Pitino’s top targets. After the scrimmage Williams told Lewis that Indiana, North Carolina, Louisville and Ohio State were his top four. IU coach Tom Crean was also in attendance tonight. There has been a lot of talk over the past few days that Williams will soon commit to IU after enjoying his visit at Indiana’s Hoosier Hysteria last weekend.

“Two of the top post graduate schools, Hargrave Military Academy and Oak Hill Academy scrimmaged each other tonight in Danville, VA”

….Oak Hill is not a post grad school nor do they accept 5th year seniors….they are a private boarding school grades 8-12….they have won 8 mythical national high school championships and had 24 NBA draftees.
