Earlier today the Syracuse Post Standard released their annual Big East basketball preseason media poll. Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals dominated the poll, receiving all 15 first place votes.
It was no different this afternoon as Louisville dominated the All League Teams as well. Cardinal senior point guard Peyton Siva was voted as preseason player of the year. Siva was one of five players to receive a vote for player of the year. Nine of the 15 media members that were polled voted for Siva.
Sophomore Chane Behanan and junior Gorgui Dieng were named to the second team all-conference. Below is an excerpt.
