Just a couple of weeks ago Logan Baumann was in charge of doing the basketball team’s laundry.  After Mike Marra suffered a season ending knee injury, Rick Pitino decided to ask the former Ohio County star if he’d like to join the team as a walk-on. As you could expect, Buamann gladly accepted the offer.

Baumann, a 6-foot guard led the Ohio County Eagles to a 29-3 record as a senior in 2011-12, a number nine ranking in the state and a 10th district championship. He was voted as the 3rd region player of the year and was invited to try out for the Kentucky All Stars. He averaged 17 points, 4 rebounds, two assists and two steals per game. He was considered to be one of the best three-point shooters in the state of Kentucky.
