According to SEC basketball recruiting analyst Joseph Thompson, Louisville is one of many programs that have started to show interest in class of 2015 big man Elijah Thomas. A member of the Louisville staff was reportedly Rockwall, Texas, earlier this week to see Thomas.
The 6-foot-8 240-pound center is just a sophomore in high school, but already has scholarship offers from Texas A&M and SMU. Louisville, Harvard, Baylor and Ohio State haven’t offered, but have recently expressed interest.
It’s still a little too early to determine if Thomas will be a top target for Louisville’s 2015 class, but he’s definitely one to keep an eye on.
