Charlie and Vickie Strong will serve as honorary chairs for the 3rd annual Cystic Fibrosis Climb this Saturday at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Here is more information on the event courtesy of Ms. Beth Denham, the executive director of the Kentucky/West Virginia CF Chapter.
The CF Climb is an exhilarating stair-climbing and fundraising event that supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is a timed event where you can compete for prizes or climb at your own pace.
Gather your family, friends and co-workers at Papa John’s Stadium to join you in climbing the stairs and then celebrate with food, drinks, entertainments and event awards at the tailgate/survivors’ party.

You can also register when you show up on Saturday. Late Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. on event day “The Climb” starts at 6:00 p.m.

Lily Brooke Singleton is a five-year-old girl from here in Louisville. She battles with Cystic Fibrosis each day. Currently, there is no cure for CF. Events like the climb helps raise funds for CF research and care.
Lily is the daughter of two close friends of mine. I’ve participated in the climb each of the last two years and although it is one of the more physically challenging things I’ve ever put myself through, it’s definitely worth it.
