Louisville recruit and native James Quick will take an unofficial visit to Ohio State this weekend as the Buckeyes take on Nebraska.
Quick, a 4-star wide receiver from Louisville Trinity High School has been the top target for Charlie Strong’s 2013 recruiting class for nearly two years. Quick’s most recent list includes Louisville, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee and Kentucky. Louisville has been considered to be the leader for quite some time. Quick confirmed that following Trinity’s 34-7 win over St. Xavier on Friday.
The 6-foot-1 wide receiver is having a stellar senior season. In six games this season for the Shamrock’s, Quick has 51 catches for 862 yards and eight touchdowns. He currently ranks second all-time in Kentucky history in career receptions.
I still think Louisville is in very good shape with Quick. I wouldn’t put too much into this visit to Ohio State as its been planned for quite some time. Quick’s Trinity teammate, Reggie Bonnafon, a junior WR/QB will also make the trip to Columbus for an unofficial visit.
