It was a big blow to the Nebraska basketball program when in-state recruit Akoy Agau verbally committed to Louisville last month. Agau currently attends Central High School in Omaha, NE., and is the best high school basketball prospect to come out of the state in quite some time.
Tim Miles was recently hired by Nebraska after a successful past few seasons at Colorado State. The hiring of Miles has given the Cornhusker fan base a certain type of excitement with their basketball program that they haven’t had in decades.
Things looked to be setting up nicely for Nebraska with a hot new coaching hire and a 4-star prospect in their own backyard. Agau committing to Louisville in September changed things; it appears that Tim Miles isn’t going down without a fight. Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com reported earlier today that Miles showed up unannounced at Agau’s high school. This didn’t sit well with the Louisville coaching staff.
I’d say Agau’s verbal commitment to Louisville is very solid, but that doesn’t mean Nebraska will be backing down any time soon.

From a very good source: Akoy Agau contacted Coach Tim Miles this past week and wanted coach to come and talk with Akoy at his high school today
