Elijah Bell, a 5-foot-9 165-pound running back out of Henry Clay High School in Lexington, KY., is hearing from a number of BCS programs, with Louisville being one of them. Bell is considered to be one of the top class of 2014 prospects in the state of Kentucky.

In six games for Henry Clay this season, Bell has rushed for 1,178 yards and nine touchdowns. He also has over 100 yards receiving. Bell is averaging nearly 20 yards per touch on the season. He doesn’t have any offers at this point, but is hearing from Louisville, Kentucky, Texas A&M, USC, Illinois, Florida, Ohio State and Auburn.

The Cardinals are pretty set at the running back position with young guys like Corvin Lamb and Brandon Radcliff waiting for their opportunity, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Louisville offer Bell before too long. He has the type of talent you want to keep in state.
