Louisville will host more than 40 unofficial visitors for the season opener against Kentucky on Sunday. James Quick, Ryan White and Jason Hatcher of Trinity High School are three of the unofficial visitors that will be in attendance.

All three local standouts are Louisville targets. Hatcher, a 4-star defensive end is verbally committed to USC, but is still being recruited by the Louisville staff. White, a 4-star cornerback was once verbally committed to Louisville, but has since switched his commitment to Vanderbilt.

James Quick, a 4-star wide receiver is the highest rated prospect in the state of Kentucky and has been the top target for Louisville’s 2013 class for quite some time. Quick’s most recent list of schools includes Louisville, Ohio State, Oregon, Cincinnati and Kentucky.

Getting White and Hatcher to switch commitments would be tough, but landing James Quick is definitely still a possibility for Louisville.
