Chris Jones, a 5-10 point guard out of Northwest Florida Junior College is one of the many point guards that’s being pursued by Louisville. The Memphis native was once considered to be one of the top 50 overall players in the 2011 class. He signed with Tennessee, but ended up going the JUCO route due to academic issues. Here are some highlights from Jones’ first season at Northwest Florida State College.

Louisville isn’t the only school showing serious interest in Jones. NC State, Florida State, Baylor, Kansas, UCLA, South Carolina, Pittsburgh, Marquette, Ole Miss, and Oklahoma State are in the mix as well. Jones will receive an in home visit from the Louisville staff in early September. Expect him to make a visit to campus once basketball practice gets started for Louisville.
