NBADraft.net Projects Gorgui Dieng As A First Round Pick

NBADraft.net is a site that continuously projects the NBA draft all year round. In their most recently published 2013 NBA mock draft, they have Gorgui Dieng going in the first round at pick #23. Surprisingly, Peyton Siva wasn’t projected to be taken in either the first or second round. I think that will change once the season starts.

DraftExpress.com has slightly different projections. They have Wayne Blackshear as the only Louisville player going in the first round. Not a big surprise considering his upside, but Blackshear will have to have a banner season in 2012-13 to get drafted in the first round. They have Gorgui Dieng and Peyton Siva going in the second round. I didn’t post Draft Express’ entire projections because their mock draft hasn’t been updated since June.
