Coach Pitino’s Horse Koko Loca Wins At Del Mar

Koko Loca, one of Louisville head basketball coach Rick Pitnio’s many race horses was a winner yesterday at Del Mar racecourse in California. The three-year-old filly was a winner in the first race of the day at Del Mar with 5-2 odds.

Coach Pitino was in attendance to see his filly cross the finish line. Koko Loca is trained by Doug O’Neill, the trainer of this year’s Kentucky Derby winner. Mario Gutierrez was the jockey in yesterday’s race.
