CBSSports.com’s college basketball crew of Gary Parrish, Jeff Goodman, Jeff Borzello and Matt Norlander spent the July recruiting period polling more than 70 division one college basketball coaches “off the record” regarding a number of different topics.

Throughout the week CBSSports.com has released stories about the most overrated coach in college basketball and World Wide Wes’ impact on the game, with anonymous quotes from different  coaches.  The article that was released today had a poll from college basketball coaches on who was the biggest cheater in the game. Kentucky head coach John Calipari came in at number one.

The Question:

Who is perceived by college coaches to be the biggest cheater in the sport?

  • John Calipari (Kentucky): 36 percent
  • Scott Drew (Baylor): 34 percent
  • Ben Howland (UCLA): 12 percent
  • Jim Calhoun (Connecticut): 7 percent
  • Tom Crean (Indiana): 3 percent
  • Dave Rice (UNLV): 3 percent

Others receiving votes: Too many to list.

  1. he was caught in memphis when he coached derrick rose and tyreke evans, but only when he wins a national title is when their going to pay more attention to him and guess what he just did. So dont be shocked to see that UK banner come down sometime.
