5-star point guard Tyler Ennis has reportedly cut his list of schools to five. The 6-foot-1 floor general hails from Canada, but attends St. Benedicts Prep in Newark, NJ. He picked up a scholarship offer from Louisville last summer and has been one of Pitino’s top targets ever since.

Ennis will at some point over the next few months decided between Louisville, Syracuse, Illinois, Memphis and UCLA. Of all the point guards receiving interest from Louisville, Ennis has been in the picture for the longest amount of time.

Rick Pitino has been in contact with Ennis throughout the spring and summer. “It’s always good to see him text me or call me,” Ennis tells Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com. “A Hall of Fame coach and the fact that he wants me, it’s an honor.”
