According to GopherHole.com, a website dedicated to Minnesota Golden Gopher coverage, former Clemson wide receiver Bryce McNeal will enroll at Louisville after being denied admission at Connecticut. The university hasn’t released an official statement just yet, but all signs seem to indicate that McNeal will be wearing a Cardinal uniform this season.
The 6-foot-2 Minnesota native verbally committed to Connecticut in January soon after he announced he would transfer from Clemson. However, after having some issues getting into a graduate program at UConn, McNeal decided to keep his options open. He visited Louisville unofficially on July 20th.
McNeal, a former 4-star recruit and Army All American graduated from Clemson in just three years and will have two years of eligibility remaining. He redshirted in 2009 and played for the Tigers in 2010 and 2011. His best season was his redshirt freshman season in 2010 where he caught 19 passes for 187 yards.
