Louisville Signee DeAndre Herron Will Attend Community College

2012 Louisville signee DeAndre Herron has failed to academically qualify and will not report to campus this fall. The 6-foot-5 308-pound offensive tackle from Avon, IN., was one of the five offensive linemen to sign with Louisville in 2012.

Herron took online classes over the summer to better his GPA in hopes of academically qualifying. Unfortunately, the online classes we’re not accredited by the NCAA.

Herron will reportedly enroll at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA. Louisville has somewhat of a connection with the school. Junior tight end Ryan Hubbel attended Iowa Western in 2011, before signing with Louisville in February.
