James Quick Now Says He Is Wide Open

I can’t speak for the entire fan base, but the one 2013 recruit that I want to see in a Louisville uniform is hometown standout James Quick. The 6-foot-1 four star wide receiver is arguably the best prospect to come out of the city of Louisville since Mike Bush and Brian Brohm.

Quick has scholarship offers from some of the top programs in the country, but has always kept Louisville towards the top of his list. Just recently he spoke with WDRB and said Louisville was his top school, while Oregon and Ohio State were also in the picture. However, things may have changed. Quick took to his Twitter account earlier this afternoon and expressed some concern about the loyalty of one of the head coaches who is recruiting him. I pray that this isn’t Charlie Strong that Quick is referring to.

I hate to be “that guy” who overacts to Tweets sent out by high school kids, but I’d be lying if I said this didn’t slightly concern me. Quit playing games with my heart, James.
