The Louisville coaching staff is off to a hot start with the 2014 class. The Cards have locked in a commitment from 5-star point guard and Louisville native, Quentin Snider, who gave Rick Pitino a verbal pledge last summer before entering his sophomore year of high school.
While Snider is a great starting piece for Louisville’s 2014 class, he isn’t the only 5-star prospect on the coaching staff’s radar. Noah Vonleh, a 6-foot-8 210-pound power forward out of New Hampton, New Hampshire, says Louisville is one of the schools pursuing him the hardest. Vonleh is rated as the top overall player in the 2014 class. Kevin Keatts was on hand last night at the Adidas Invitational in Indianapolis to watch Vonleh perform. Rick Pitino is expected to make the trip later today.
Vonleh tells Alex Bozich of InsideTheHall.com, that Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio State are the four schools that are pursuing him the most. Louisville extended a scholarship offer to the big man just a few weeks ago. He also has offers from Boston College, Providence, UConn, Auburn, UCLA, Arizona, Ohio State, Indiana and North Carolina. Vonleh is definitely one to keep your eye on in the 2014 class.
