Former Cardinals Terrence Jennings and Edgar Sosa will both participate in the NBA summer league.

Jennings has been added to the Philadelphia 76ers roster for the 2012 NBA Summer League. Jennings left Louisville in 2011 after three seasons with the Cardinals. He went undrafted and played professionally last season in Belgium where he averaged 8.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

The 76ers are one of the eight NBA teams that will participate in the Orlando summer league.

Sosa was recently added to the roster for the Sacramento Kings. After graduating from Louisville in 2010, Sosa spent one year playing professionally in Italy’s top level league. Sosa was named an All Star after averaging 14.4 points, 4.5 assists, 2.3 steals and shooting better than 40% from long-range. His short-lived professional career hit a road block when Sosa suffered a severely broken leg last summer in Argentina while he was playing for the Dominican National team. Sosa has made a miraculous recovery and is already close to 100%. His quick recovery from such a gruesome injury is truly remarkable. However, it’s a shame that the injury came at a time where he was close to earning an NBA contract.

The Sacramento Kings will compete in the Las Vegas Summer League which takes places July 13-15.

Best of luck to both T.J. and Sos.
