Anthony Barber isn’t a name we’ve heard that much over the past few months. However, Barber is a guy Louisville fans should get familiar with. The 5-star 6-foot-2 speedster from Hampton, VA trimmed his list to just three schools over the weekend, with Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cards making the cut. Kansas and Alabama are the other two schools involved.
Rivals.com ranks Barber as the 3rd best point guard in the 2013 class. He doesn’t appear to be in a hurry to make a decision, but he does plan on taking a visit to Louisville at some point this summer. Tyler Ennis had appeared to be Louisville’s top target at the point guard position for the 2013 class, but Barber’s performance at the NBPA Top 100 Camp last month caught the attention of Cardinal assistant Kevin Keatts.

I sure hope they get this kid he looks like the real deal. I have watched a few other videos on him and he would be great with big men that we have. He needs to work on his shoot a little but is the real deal… GO CARDS
