Jen Smith covers Kentucky football and women’s basketball for the Lexington Herald-Leader. She was on hand earlier today for UK’s press conference regarding the renovation to the E.J. Nutter Football Training Facility. Apparently a “Beat Louisville” wall has been added to the facility. Smith Tweeted this photo after the presser.

In all seriousness, I love how intense the Football Rivalry is right now. We’re still 2 ½ months away from the game and the trash-talking has already started between both the fans and the players. The Louisville program didn’t go as far as dedicating a wall to their in-state rival. However, they appear to be just as excited for the annual Governors Cup Battle. This photo was posted to the UofL Football Facebook page earlier this month.
