An Early Look At Louisville’s Class Of 2014 Recruits

At what point is it too soon to look at Louisville Football’s 2014 recruiting class?  Here is an early look at some of the primary targets of Charlie Strong and Company thus far.  All has received scholarship offers according to 247sports.com.

Kendrick Hair – 4-Star 6’-5” 270lb Strongside Defensive End (Orlando Florida)

-4th ranked Defensive End nationally

-6th best prospect in the state of Florida.

-Louisville’s biggest competition at this point appears to be South Carolina

Drew Barker – 4-Star 6’-4” 205lb Dual-Threat QB (Hebron KY)

-Invited to and performed well at the regional Elite 11 quarterback camp.

-Has taken unofficial visits to Louisville, Ohio State, Wisconsin & Cincinnati.

Dalvin Cook – 4-Star 5’-11” 190lb Running Back (Miami Florida)

-4th ranked Running Back nationally

-12th best prospect in the state of Florida.

-Also holds offers from Miami, USC, Illinois, Clemson and several others.

Travis Rudolph – 6’-0” 170lb Wide Receiver (West Palm Beach Florida)

-Named AP Class 3A All-State football team as a wide receiver.

-Recorded 731 yards & 12 TD’s as a freshman and 461 yards & 6 TD’s as a sophomore WR.

-Also holds offers from Miami, WVU & Florida among others.

Moral Stephens – 6’-4” 200lb Wide Receiver (Perry Florida)

-Brennan Carroll of Miami and Jeff Scott of Clemson have both made visits.

-Ohio State, Penn State, Arkansas, Miami, Georgia Tech & Clemson among others.

-Stephens is really heating things up on the national scene and will end up a solid 4-Star prospect at worst.
