According to Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com, The Louisville coaching staff has recently started pursuing Davon Reed, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Princeton (N.J.) Day School. Reed is rated as a 4-star prospect by both Rivals and Scout. He currently holds offers from Harvard, Rutgers, Penn State, Seton Hall, Xavier, West Virginia, and Temple among others.

Reed is described as a versatile perimeter player. He is considered to be one of the more athletic guards in the 2013 class and can play both the point guard and shooting guard positions. He is currently playing with Team Takeover on the Nike EYBL recruiting circuit. UConn was at one point considered to be in the lead for his services, however the Huskies recent issues with the NCAA appears to have changed things.
