Luke Hancock Will Have Surgery

During yesterday’s press conference, Rick Pitino shared some pretty unfortunate news. After separating his shoulder in a pick-up game last week, Louisville junior Luke Hancock will have to have surgery.

Coach Pitino said they decided to go through with the surgery just for precautionary reasons. Although Luke’s shoulder is back in place, without the surgery, there is a chance he could re-injure it at anytime. Coach Pitino says Hancock will be back to 100% by the time school starts in August. This is the second shoulder injury for Hancock. During the regular season he suffered the same type of injury on the separate shoulder which sidelined him for a few weeks.

I think it’s safe to say, Luke is officially a Cardinal now. Will the injuries ever stop?
