Wes Rogers, a 6-5 275 lb. offensive lineman (center) from North Lawrence high school in Indianapolis has verbally committed to Indiana. Rogers said he seriously considered Louisville before deciding on the Hoosiers.

Rogers is ranked as the 8th best center in the 2012 class by Rivals.com. He holds offers from Temple, Eastern Michigan, Cincinnati, Ball State, Army, WKU, Toledo, and Air Force.

Losing recruits to IU is slightly embarrassing, but I think Coach Strong and his staff have enough goodwill in the bank to let this one slide. Louisville already has two verbal commitments from 2012 offensive lineman, Sid Anvoots of Indianapolis and T.C. Klusman of Cincinnati.
